There is a storm raging in the world of healthcare - privatizations, public private partnerships, substantial changes in healthcare financing, and deregulation (in part) of the care and hospital sector. All these developments put pressure on hospital managements. The position of specialists, their partnerships and the partnership structures will also change. The Cure & Care section assists hospital managements and specialists in responding to the challenges of all these developments.

We are involved in mergers and partnerships between hospitals, private initiatives and public-private partnerships in this sector.

Moreover, we also advise medical specialists in their initiatives (independent treatment centers) but also in conflicts in partnerships, termination arrangements and conflicts between specialists and between specialist partnerships  and the hospital. We also have specific knowledge on areas of the AWBZ, Care Institutions (Accreditation) Act, Medical Treatment Contracts Act (WGBO) and the Individual Healthcare Professions Act (BIG). We also assist parties in their consultancy with the Care Authority (Zorgautoriteit) and the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport.(VWS)
