Alex Meijer

Attorney at law

Alex Meijer, attorney at law, specialises in economic and administrative law, focusing on regulated markets. He has extensive experience in market regulation and is one of very few attorneys to have represented regulatory authorities as well as regulated market parties. He used to work as an in-house attorney at KPN as well as several major law firms. Prior to that, he worked several years at a law firm, as an attorney for OPTA and the Dutch energy regulator (DTe). He is experienced in all the various aspects of regulatory practice, including dispute settlement, price regulation, and enforcement.

Alex is a member of the Association for Administrative Law, the Association for Media & Communications Law, the Netherlands Association for Competition Law, the Netherlands Association for Energy Law and the Association for Dutch Public Transport Law. He has published various articles on telecommunications law and energy law.
