In 2011 Joost completed his degree in Dutch Law at the University of Amsterdam. During his master's studies, he focused on corporate law and wrote his thesis about the potential liability of investigators in the 'enquêteprocedure'.

Joost joined VMW Taxand in January 2012 where he works as an attorney at law for the corporate practice group.
