Frank Tolboom to speak at the AIJA Conference in Paris, 15-16 October 2010

AIJA is a global association devoted to lawyers and inhouse counsel aged 45 and under. Through a wide range of meetings, seminars, law courses and advocacy, they aim to promote professional cooperation and friendship among young career-building legal professionals on a international stage.

The seminar in Paris is called "Gaming and betting online: ready for the race?" and will discuss the gaming and betting sector from a business perspective, stressing the relevance of this industry in most western countries. After a general analysis of the regulations in Europe and the US, a roundtable will follow involving lawyers from several jurisdictions – ranging from Italy and The Netherlands to France and the US – which will highlight how the different approaches adopted may have given an advance or a time lag vis-à-vis the other countries.
